緻密で深い彫りや力強い曲線が美しい、一刀彫の熊の木製彫刻。アンティークとして活躍します。
台座となる板をつけてお譲りします。

シャケをくわえた熊の彫刻は多いですが、シャケを背負い、釣り竿をくわえた熊は珍しく、迫力があります。

作品をのせている板には、「1974.9.1 洞爺湖」（昭和49年）と刻まれています（写真12枚目）。北海道旭川市を中心に発展してきたアイヌ民芸品である可能性が高いです。

経年によるキズや汚れはありますが、半世紀以上前の作品にしては状態がよいほうだと思います。

A wooden ittobori (one-knife carving) bear sculpture featuring beautifully deep cuts and powerful curves.
It will be sold together with its original wooden base.

While many carved bears are depicted holding a fish, this one is rare and impressive because it holds a fishing rod with the fish caught on the line.

The base on which the bear stands is engraved with “1974.9.1 Toyako” (September 1, 1974), as shown in the 12th photo.
For this reason, it is highly likely that the piece is an Ainu folk craft originating from Asahikawa, Hokkaido, where this style of carving developed.
