ラミネート生地（ビニコ）とは、生地の表面にビニールコーティング加工（ラミネート加工）を施し、防水性を持たせた布のことです。
水滴や汚れをさっと拭き取れ、切りっぱなしでもほつれにくい特徴から、生地をそのままテーブルクロスにする、なんて使い方も。
家庭用ミシンでも楽々縫えるので、トートバッグやお子さまのレッスンバッグなどのバッグ類から、水濡れが気になるお化粧ポーチ、お食事エプロンやスタイなど、ソーイング初心者さんにも様々なハンドメイドを楽しんでいただけます♪
