This GS antique grandfather clock from the early Showa period is in working condition, but should be placed horizontally. Unlike modern clocks, there will be some deviations. Please wind the mainspring every few days. Old grandfather clocks are spring-driven clocks that were popular in homes from the Meiji to Showa periods, hung on walls or pillars. They were also called "bonbon clocks" because of the "bonbon" sound they made every hour to tell the time. They require winding and feature a pendulum and mechanical gears to keep time.
