The Sanekata Cherry Blossom is a sacred tree planted in the hope of lasting peace, based on a representative haiku by the enshrined deity, Fujiwara Sanekata:

"The rain has begun to fall as we go cherry blossom viewing; though we too will be wet, we will hide in the shade of the blossoms."

It is said that if you pray before the cherry tree after visiting the shrine and it rains the next day, it will bring you happiness.

This amulet depicts the sacred Sanekata Cherry Blossom and the rain that brings happiness.
